Documents required:
Bachelors (UG) Marksheet: You need to submit your Bachelors (undergraduate) degree marksheet to verify that you obtained overall 65% marks or 6.5 GPA out of 10. If your university follows a different grading system, you need to submit the document or website link to verify the grading formula and maximum marks (or GPA) possible. For example, just the mention of your GPA (say 2.8) is not sufficient. The document must also mention the maximum GPA, which is required to check the eligibility criterion. For example, 2.8 GPA out of maximum 4 GPA is acceptable.
In case, the overall % marks or cumulative GPA is not mentioned in the transcript or degree document, then you need to submit all your transcripts (all semesters and years) in a single pdf file. You also need to submit your university grading formula and one MS Excel file showing the calculation of your overall percentage marks (or GPA) considering your marks in every course studied.
Work experience certificate: You need to submit your work experience certificate to verify that you have at least four years of full-time work experience after completing your graduation.

No Objection Certificate (NOC): NOC is a document to verify that the candidate has formally informed his current company (employer) about his pursuing the Executive MBA program, and the company has granted permission (has no objection) to pursue this degree program. Without submitting the NOC document, a candidate is not allowed to enroll in the EMBA degree program.
- A sample text “The candidate, Name and Designation, has been working with the company since date XX. The company allows him/her to pursue the Executive MBA program at IIT Roorkee.” Similar statements from the company implying no objection to pursuing the degree program are also acceptable.
- Preferably, NOC should be printed on the company’s letterhead with the company logo and complete address. The complete name and designation of the candidate should be mentioned in this letter. It should be signed by a senior/ HR manager with his name, designation, address, phone number, and office email ID. The scanned copy can be submitted.
- Alternatively, a candidate can send a formal email to his senior / HR manager expressing his interest in pursuing the EMBA degree program. The manager can formally confirm that there is no objection, and the company allows the candidate to pursue the degree program. The candidate can print these two emails as pdf and submit them as NOC. In this email pdf, the company name, company address, candidate’s name and designation, the senior / HR manager’s name, designation, phone number, and office email ID should be mentioned for verification purposes.
